Anxiety and Panic Attacks
If you’ve been experiencing anxiety or panic attacks, you’ll know how overwhelming it can be. It can seem as though it’s taking over your whole life. But it doesn’t have to be this way. I’ve helped many people overcome anxiety.
One of the things I hear often from new clients is that they want me to help them manage their anxiety. They believe that anxiety is something they have to put up with and learn how to cope with.
However, in the vast majority of cases, anxiety is something that can be let go of completely. I’ve seen many, many clients overcome these distressing symptoms and go forward to lead happy, inspired and enthusiastic lives.
Why am I having panic attacks?
Anxiety begins when we have either a big trauma in life, or a number of smaller stresses that build up over time. It can show itself quickly, or lurk in the background for a long time, and then pop up when we’re going through a vulnerable patch.
When stress gets locked in to your system, it shows up in distressing symptoms such as:
overwhelming emotions, runaway thoughts, wanting to run away, your mind going blank, sometimes even getting really angry.
Then there are the physical symptoms such as prolific sweating, ‘lump in your throat’, palpitations, dry mouth, shallow breathing, shaking …….and more.
These are all normal symptoms of anxiety, but you don't have to put up with them. Anxiety can become a thing of the past
(Its always a good idea to check with your doctor to rule out any underlying health issues that may be causing your symptoms)
How will you help me get over anxiety?
The mind and body work together in a constant state of interaction. We call this the body-mind. This is why we experience anxiety in physical symptoms in the body, as well as anxious thoughts in our mind.
Thus in order to properly, and rapidly, overcome anxiety, we need to find a way to release stress from the body AND learn to master those run-away thoughts

Oh gosh yes! Many years ago, I had such bad anxiety I couldn't even leave the house. Life wasn't so good then.
In time, I learnt to overcome anxiety completely. Partly due to my own personal methods, and much to do with what I learnt in therapist training. I've gone on to help thousands of people let go of anxiety and lead a full and confident life. I can help you too.
